Just so you don't think this blog is entirely about Abby, here's something else that I've been spending time working on:





It's my first patchwork blanket. I haven't done the backing yet - I'm waiting on some snuggly fabric I ordered online - but I'm pretty pleased with the way the top turned out.

Thanks to my friend Amy for publishing a great tutorial which walked me through the process, and for letting me pick through her fabric scraps for inspiration.
