Summer fun

Abby and I have been enjoying spending as much time outside as possible, before the "real heat" arrives. She's been practising her counting skills while performing her regular swallowtail caterpillar count on the fennel. Hard to believe that the fennel has outgrown her.



Clothing is often optional out here "in the country", however this little display of nudity occurred at a friend's place in Austin.



We still have to make time for baking, of course. Abby made her first batch of peanut butter cookies last week - yummmm.



And just to show you that I haven't stopped sewing...



These are a couple of snuggle blankets I made for some new baby girls, one in Texas and one in Canada.
