A little time away

This summer nearly got away from us before we realized it was almost over. So we headed to the Texas coast for a little R&R before Abby started pre-K classes. It was our first family "road trip" and we all did really well. This was surely the first of many.



We had the beach to ourselves most of the time, since school had already begun for most kids.



We enjoyed some beautiful sunrises over the Gulf from our balcony...



... and sunsets from the water.



All in all, a great way to way to spend time together.
